Name/Title DAGGER, JAPANESE; WAKIZASHI
Brief Description A small sword, a wakizashi, with a matching stiletto knife are sheathed within the same scabbard. A single-edged blade is attached to a wooden hilt which is bound with fish skin and secured with a brass overlay and decoration. A plain tsuba (sword guard) is made of lacquered wood with brass fittings.
