Brief Description	This siapo (barkcloth or tapa) salatasi is made into a waist mat or skirt and is made in Futuna from the inner bark of the paper mulberry tree (Broussonetia papyrifera). Hand painted in a very fine rectangular geometric design, the dyes used are brown and black. The right hand border is serrated and the lower border is cut into rectangular tags 123mm long with serrated sides.
