Name/Title CLUB, WHALE BONE
Brief Description This simple octagonal faceted whale bone club tapers to the handle end and has a leather strip wrist strap attached. It was used for killing seals. It was made and used by the survivors of the Dundonald shipwreck in 1907, when they managed to reach Disappointment Island, near the Auckland Islands.
