Name/Title JUG, WILLOW PATTERN
Brief Description This ceramic jug is an example of early Willow Pattern pottery. Its blue transfer print depicts stylish houses in a Chinese town or village. The jug has a moulded spout with filter holes in the wall of the jug. The handle is made from two "straps" twisted together and attached in four places to the jug body with ornate mouldings.
