Brief Description |
Pen and ink drawing of two carved pou, Te Rarowhakaiwha and Hinekatarangi, figures on the front of a whare at Te Raukawa Pā. The figure on the left, Te Rarowhakaiwha, has a spiral design on each shoulder and is holding the left hand up towards the face, the right hand down towards the groin. The figure on the right, Hinekatarangi, also has a spiral design on each shoulder but also significant decoration on the chest and arms. The figures are drawn on brown tracing paper.
