One of a collection of black and white photographs of buildings and streets in Wanganui, this print shows Drews Avenue, formerly Wicksteed Place, from Taupo Quay to Rutland Street.
Two substantial buildings hug a narrow building that has little street presence. All were built in the early 20th century. Levin & Co in the foreground was built in 1926, the narrow brick building went up around 1900 and housed the Wanganui Vacuum Cleaning Co, while the Chronicle building opened in 1912.
