| Brief Description |
Wooden printing block with a printing plate of two mosses and one liverwort. The taller moss is the Giant Moss, Dendroligotrichum dendroides. The smaller moss is a Hypopterygium specimen. The Liverwort is not identified. The Department of Lands and Survey (now Department of Conservation) commissioned series of printing blocks as illustrations for publication in handbooks and track pamphlets about Egmont National Park.
