Name/Title	PHOTOGRAPH; Whanganui from Cooks Gardens
Brief Description	Black and white photograph of a view of Whanganui, taken from Cooks Gardens/York Stockade looking down over Maria Place towards the hill where the Rutland Stockade was located. Stockade is no longer on the site, instead being replaced with the Queen's Park School buildings. Many other houses, shops, and churches are visible on the townscape. Photograph printed from an original glass plate negative whcih has some cracking and crazing.
