Brief Description	This is a modern reprint of an old black and white photograph of James Dalton of Whanganui. A head and shoulders portrait, it shows his greying hair, beard and moustache. He wears a suit jacket over a white shirt with a high starched collar, and a patterned tie. During the printing process the original photograph was purposely blurred around the edges to provide an "art" effect.
