The flag of the Aramoho Light Horse Cavalry 1863-1870 was made by the women of Aramoho in silk fabric. A blue field with a crown and the letters "ALH" are embroidered in the centre, all imposed on a yellow border with tassels on three sides.
The Aramoho Light Horse Cavalry was made up of European settler volunteers who fought for the Crown during the New Zealand Wars.
