Brief Description This portrait-format postcard is printed on card with a glossy finish and features a hand-coloured photograph of a young woman wearing a long red cape, sitting outside a thatched-roof cottage with rose vines growing up the walls, reading a letter held in her lap.

The fourth verse of the song "It's a Long, Long Way to Tipperary" is printed on the bottom: "IT'S A LONG, LONG WAY TO TIPPERARY (4) / Molly wrote a neat reply to Irish Paddy O', / Saying, "Mike Maloney wants to marry me, and so / Leave the Strand and Piccadilly, or you'll be to blame, / For love has fairly drove me silly, hoping you're the / same."
