This landscape-format postcard features a black and white photograph of a group of 11 soldiers posing inside an army barracks sleeping quarters. Wooden slat-beds are lined up along each side of the room.
The men are all dressed in different combinations of uniform, and stand or sit on the beds. This postcard was not written on or sent, but on the reverse reads "Featherston NZ 1917".
