Masi tutuki or barkcloth (tapa); Fiji; beaten inner bark of paper mulberry tree (Broussonetia papyrifera); a type of Fijian white masi with black stencilled patterns; decorated with spherical stencil patterns widely spaced. Identified as a waist or chest garment by Hellen PuhipuhI 15.9.1999. The masi is small and rectangular in shape; decorated with ten rows of motif, 3 motif to each row, 3 different motif/rows then patterns repeat; motifs flower 1, centipede, flower 2; repeat these 3 motifs 3 times then a final row of flower 1; 2 layers
