Carte de visite photograph of Major Bishop. Sepia toned image mounted to organe card with a red border. Head and shoulders portrait of a man wearing a suit and tie, with a bushy beard. Major Bishop was with the 18th Royal Irish Regiment and served in Whanganui during the Maori Wars of the 1860s, but returned via Sydney in March 1870.
