Black and white photograph of the settlement of Jerusalem from the west bank of the Whanganui River. St Joseph's Church and other buildings are visible. A person is seated in a rowboat at lower right.
One of 38 black and white photographs of Whanganui River scenes taken during the river trip of William Salt (brother) and Mary Salt (sister) and party, who rowed down down the Whanganui River from Taumarunui in about 1910. Information on back of photograph comes from G J Wilks, brother of the donor who made the voyage, or part of it.
