Black and white photograph on card of No 1 enginge and Dynamo. Information on the reverse gives specifics of the machinery: the engine runs on town gas and develops 300 BHP (brake horse power); Dynamo 640 amps; 250 watts; 147 revs per minute. Fly wheel and shaft weigh 20 tons. This lighting generating engine may have been used for lighting at the Town Hall.
