Biographical Display	Edith was married to Clive Henry Ernest Rhodes an early settler. Family history has that he came up the Rangitikei River, landed, picked his land (350 acres) cleared it and farmed it. "Matainui" was so named because of the large matai trees on the farm. Edith and Clive had 4 children: Alton Howard (donor), Mildred Edith , Philip Godfrey and Ian Clive
