A black and white photograph of the staff members of the South Cross Biscuit Co. Ltd., located in Whanganui. The large group of people are arranged in four rows with two men seated on the ground in front. A large building is seen behind them, with names and slogans painted on: "The Southern Cross Biscuit Co Ltd, The Duncan Confectinery" on the end of the building; "Roller Flour Mills" on the long side; and "The Southern Cross Biscuit Co Lts" on the second building behind. The women all wear white uniform dressed, and the men wear varying suits and shirts.
Most of the group remains unidentified except for Mr Norman Delves who is 8th across in the front row adnd Mr Albert Delves who was tenth scross. The photograph has been mounted on grey backing card.
