Name/Title CARD; Memento of the Wanganui Election for the House of Representatives Dec. 6th, 1899
Brief Description Card printed to commemorate A D Willis's election to the House of representatives in 1899. Bi-fold cover with centre opening, the left side features an etching of the John Ballance statue, the right side with a text in a frame, "To live in the hearts of those we love is not to die", plus small text in wreath at bottom centre. Left inside cover, pink trellising in background, features photographs of T E Williams (Chairman) and C W Poynter (Secretary Men's Committee). Right inside cover, pink trellising in background, features photographs of Mrs Margaret Bullock (Chairwoman) and Miss Williams (Secretary Ladies' Committee). Inside centre back features a photograph of A D Willis set in a flag of red, white and blue and gold edging, with text in blue ink underneath. Centre back cover features a photograph of Parliamentary Buildings, Wellington, in orange ink.
