Black and white photograph of Mrs Emma Haggett on her 100th birthday, with her great grandson, Christopher Small, in Whanganui. Recorded in the Wanganui Chronicle on 18 March 1932 is "Wanganui, as a whole, will congratulate Mrs Haggett on the attainment of an age which testifies so strongly to the health and courage of the race which established civilisation in this Dominion." Mrs Haggett’s daughter Emma had a daughter called Dorrie who married Mr Small. Christopher was their son. Emma junior's son was Herbert Clemence who married May, sister of Mrs Dorothy Marks.

These photos were printed by Leigh Mitchell-Anyon from the Lampe Collection of negatives owned by Leigh Mitchell-Anyon Photographer Ltd. They were printed specifically for the Lampe Light exhibition March - July 1999. The Museum paid for the materials archival photographic paper and chemicals) and Leigh donated his time and expertise.
