Black and white photograph of a steam locomotive stopped near to a bridge at Kaihu Valley in 1956. The photo shows a white car of the era parked on the grass close to the train. Five men are standing alongside the track and a woman is standing in the open doorway of the luggage carriage. The engine driver is leaning out of the train. The train track can be seen in front of the track.
