This black and white photograph is of the "V" class locomotive No 7C, used in New Zealand from 1887 - 1891. It was built by Nasmyth, Wilson and Co. of Salford, England in 1885 and was finally written off in 1923.
This is one of a collection of photographs relating to railways, collected by D G Hoy.
