Brief Description This Fijian necklace, or wasekaseka, is made of split whale teeth. There are 28 units, all shaped to a point, perforated at the base and polished and bound together by fine, three-ply sennit binding. The units are graded by size, with the largest at centre. The sennit binding extends 29.1 cm.
