Brief Description Black and white photograph of Mr G Leggett, a window cleaner. Man wearing black trousers and a black waistcoat over a white shirt, standing halfway up a ladder with a rag in his hands, cleaning a window. The ladder is painted with "G Leggett, Window Cleaner" on the side.

Reverse has an inscription to Mack and Maggie, wishing them the compliments of the season. Mag (Margaret) Wilson lived in Alton Villa on St Johns Hill, Whanganui, and worked as a tailor during World War I. Duncan "Mack" MacKinnon was her sweetheart who served in the New Zealand Expeditionary Force and whom she later married.
