Brief Description This figurine, carved from wood and gaudily painted, represents Mr Pickwick, a character from Charles Dickens' first novel "The Posthumous Papers of the Pickwick Club" published in 1836.

Pickwick is depicted wearing a yellow waistcoat and trousers, a large green overcoat and a checked green and yellow scarf and beaver hat; he carries a large carpet bag.
