Name/Title BOWL, POWDER
Brief Description A circular powder bowl with lid made of laminated native New Zealand timbers including totara, rimu, rewarewa, towai, kauri, puriri and kahikatea. The lid is lipped with a flat circular handle decorated with parallel lines of the different timbers. The bowl is decorated with four oval geometric patterns around outer edge. Bowl is lined with blue felt.
Under lid is a green circular label which reads "New Zealand / Native Timbers / (lists of woods as above) /"Sovereign". On the base of the bowl is a black and silver stick on label with "WANGANUI/Sovereign/NEW ZEALAND" printed on it.
