Cocktail table made from laminated New Zealand native timbers. Table consists of a cicular top, a turned wood stand and a smaller circular base. The table is able to dismantle into three separte parts. Table top consists of three concentric circles. The central circle is kauri, the middle circle is eight different woods made into a hexagonal shape, the outer cicle consists of 24 different woods which are name on the outside edge using a poker work technique. The different woods used include rimu, matai, tawhai, kahikatea, totara, red beech, kauri, miro, rewarewa, pukatea, hinau, mangeao, taraire, tanekaha, puriri, titoki, rata, kohekohe, towai, kaikawaka, kawaka and maire. As described in the Sovereign Woodware Catalogue the table is "a beautiful piece of craftmanship to grace any drawing room."
