Brief Description |
This windi-windi is a sort of bull roarer. It is very light and carved from red-brown wood, and then stained. Oval in shape, it has pointed ends, a single perforation 4mm in diameter at one end. One side is slightly more convex, and both sides are decorated with a symbolic pattern of spirals and horse-shoe shapes carved into wood. A length of string (2270mm) is threaded through the perforation and the two ends knotted together.
