Name/Title HANDBILL; The Great Appeal
Brief Description This handbill launched an appeal for funds for New Zealand servicemen on active service during World War I. Headed "The Great Appeal" and subtitled "Give for our Boys at the Front", the handbill features a poem especially written for "The Great War Relief Carnival" by D McLaren.

"Held Under the Auspices of / The New Zealand Patriotic Society, / in Aid of New Zealand's Wounded Solidiers and Sailors and their dependants. 3rd June 1915."

It is printed on paper which has been glued to thin linen.
