Four black and white photographs of the Aramoho Boating Club are mounted on a card. In 1947 the Aramoho Boating Club was the winner of the Senior Eights at the Wellington Regatta, New Zealand Championship Eights at Picton, Head-of-the-River Eights at the Wanganui Regatta and the New Zealand Inter-Provincial Eight-Par Champions representing Wanganui. (a) The larger photograph at the top features the rowing eight and cox aboard their boat on the Whanganui River. Team identified as: D Morrison, W James, W Carrol, J Brown, J O'Brien, L Clark, T Preator, E Johnson, C Johnstone. (b) Lower left is a head-and-shoulders portrait of J Stokes, 7th Interprovincial Eight. (c) Centre is an image of the Haliburton-Johnstone Cup. (d) Lower right is a portrait of D Holmes, the Coach, Selector, and Manager of the team.
