Brief Description This pair of identical cubed salt and pepper shakers are made from laminated New Zealand native timbers. The front sides feature a carved koruru face. Printed on a gold label is on the back of the pepper shaker is: ''KORURU / Carved human / face with staring / eyes and defiant / protruding tongue. / Prominent feature / of all Maori carvings". Both have circular clear plastic stoppers on the bases.
