Brief Description	This is one of a pair of placards used at a rally protesting against Government health cuts in Majestic Square, Whanganui, in December 1997. The placard was painted in red poster paint onto stiff cardboard which was nailed to a rough timber rod. It reads, "WHEN WAS / THE TREASURY / RIGHT? "NEVER" / *OUR PUBLIC HEALTH / IS NOT FOR SALE".
