Brief Description |
A sepia toned photograph of the Aramoho Railway Bridge over the Wanganui River. The photograph was taken from the southwest looking at the bridge spanning the river. The Aramoho Rail Bridge measured 600 feet long and was made from timber lattice with iron tie-rods. It had a northwest abutment on 144 piles driven 33 feet below the waterline. It cost £24,622 to make. Photograph is mounted on cream backing card.
