A black and white photograph mounted on card, showing a panorama view from Shakespeare Cliff looking towards Moutoa Gardens in Whanganui. The photograph looks over the Whanganui River with waka and boats pulled up onto the shore. The triangle area of Moutoa Gardens is beyond with trees around the edges and the statue erected in the centre of the front edge. The Whanganui Court House is visible at the centre-top of the garden, with the Commercial and Albion Hotels on the left, and the Rutland Stockade on the hill behind.
