Brief Description A black and white photo of what was then the River Bank Esplanade next to the Whanganui River, looking towards Aramoho. This stretch is now known as Somme Parade. The photograph was taken from the footpath looking up the path with the river on the right, with a couple sitting on a bench between some sapling trees overlooking the water.
