It advertises a radio, Dart Bicycles, C O Jones Co, Groves Cash Store, Leading Tailors Carrad & Howe, W M Thomson Watchmaker and Jeweller, a photo of a horse, and Spurdle's coffee. F A Henley's Saddler & Harness Maker premises is also in the foreground. On the left side of Taupo Quay is the M Hogan Company Limited and New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company Ltd buildings. Johnston & Co is to the right of the bridge.
