A black and white photograph of an unidentified ship entering the Whanganui River mouth. The view looks across the calm water towards the white vessel with two masts approaching on the left, and the North Mole stretching out into the water on the right. Another ship waits further out to sea. A man fishes from the end of the mole, and other people are visible walking the mole in the lower right corner of the images. Photograph has been mounted on card.
