A black and white photograph of a row of cars parked outside the Rutland Hotel, at the corner of Ridgway Street and Victoria Avenue in Whanganui. A crowd of people are gathered oputside outside the entrance next to the cars, and three women stand on the verandah above looking down.
Some of the men in the group have been identified as James Williams, Lyn McKelvie of Napier, and Charles Shevan Junior, but their position in the crowd is not identified.
Photograph has been mounted on black backing card.
