Brief Description A sepia toned photograph of the original railway siding that ran from the Churton Street Station to the Town Wharf in Whanganui. The view looks over the tracks which enter from the left of the image and cross a road before turning up towards the river and heading north parallel with Taupo Quay to the township. The Town Bridge and Durie Hill are visible in the background, and a white building stands to the left.
Photograph has been mounted on cream backing card.
