Name/Title CYPRIOT JUGLET
Brief Description This small pottery juglet made from fine orange-buff clay is one of a large collection of ceramics from Cyprus, donated to the Museum by Dr George Sleight. It has been restored from archaeological fragments and the join marks are evident. Dating from 700-650 BC, its orange base has been decorated with brown painted bands and spirals.
