Name/Title PHOTOGRAPH; Mag (Margaret) Wilson
Brief Description Black and white photograph mounted as a postcard, of Margaret Wilson, known as Mag. It is a head and shoulders portrait, facing half left, of a young woman wearing a dark dress with a white lace collar, a white handkerchief in her pocket and a locket necklace.

Mag's brother Arthur fought and died in World War I. This photograph is part of a collection that contains letters Arthur sent to Mag from the front. She later went on to marry her wartime sweetheart Duncan "Mack" MacKinnon.

Margaret Wilson was born on 21 June 1887. She married Duncan MacKinnon on 20 May 1920 when he returned from WWI. Duncan died on 29 March 1929 as a result of injuries sustained while working as Second Engineer on the Dredge Kaione which, suffered an explosion on 28 March.

Mag went on to marry George Robinson on 30 May 1933. She died on 26 November 1979.
