Brief Description Black and white photograph mounted as a postcard of Miss Margaret Wilson, known as Mag. Studio portrait of a young woman wearing a white shirt and a chain necklace, with her hair pulled back behind her head.

Mag's brother Arthur fought and died in World War I and a collection contains letters he sent to her from the front.

Margaret Wilson was born on 21 June 1887. She married Duncan MacKinnon, her childhood sweetheart, on 20 May 1920 when he returned from WWI. Duncan died on 29 March 1929 as a results of injuries sustained while working as Second Engineer on the Dredge Kaione which suffered an explosion on 28 March.

Mag went on to marry George Robinson on 30 May 1933. She died on 26 November 1979.
