This black and white carte de visite photograph is of Mr R Buckeridge. It is a modern reprint of a studio head and torso portrait. He wears a suit jacket fastened by a single button beneath the collar so that his buttoned waistcoat is clearly visible beneath. He has a moustache and a short beard, and his waved hair is worn in a side part.
The subject's name is partly visible in reverse at the top of the print.
Buckeridge was an early resident of the Whanganui district.
