Black and white carte de visite photograph of Mr Thomas Daniel Bullen. Modern reprint of studio portrait photograph of man standing with closed umbrella in hand while other arm rests on decorative plinth, atop of which rests upturned bowler hat. Man wears fastened double-breasted blazer jacket, with white collar and black tailored necktie. Trousers are mid-toned. Man has a moustache and mutton-chops style beard and short cropped hair.
The subject's name and other illegible markings are visible in white at top of print.
Thomas Daniel Bullen was born in 1833 and died on 29th August 1888 at Whanganui Hospital, aged 53-years. He came to Whanganui around 1860 and served in the Defence Force.
