Brief Description	Sepia toned unmounted original carte de visite photograph of Mr David Barr. Studio portrait photograph of young man's head and torso cropped in oval frame. Man wears suit jacket over white collared shirt with ribbon bow tie and buttoned waistcoat. Man is clean shaven and has cropped hair. David Barr was born on 10 July 1853, son of John, a merchants clerk. He married Louisa Mary Sigglekow on 25 April 1883, and no children are recorded for the couple. Louisa died in 1937 aged 81 years, and David died in 1951 aged 97 years.
