Brief Description	This black and white photograph is a panorama of Whanganui from Durie Hill. Old river terraces on Bastia, Durie and St Johns Hills provided ideal vantage points for general views of Whanganui. The R P Moore studio made as much use of them as other panoramic photographers before and since. This view from Durie Hill was one of Moore's best, and was deservedly popular.
