Name/Title CUP AND SAUCER
Brief Description This cup (a) and saucer (b) set is made of fine glazed china. On the bottom of both cup and saucer in gold are the words: ''HAND PAINTED / JAPAN''.

The outside cup is pale blue and has six tear shaped indentations. Three indentations have pink roses hand-painted on them and three have gold vine leaves and tendrils. The cup has a gold base with six tear-shaped indentations. The handle and rim are gold. A mother-of-pearl glaze and a spray of roses can be seen inside the cup.

The saucer is also pale blue with eight tear-shaped sections, four with hand painted-roses and four with gold vine leaves and tendrils. The centre and rim of saucer are in gold.
