Brief Description	This egg-shaped object is a ceramic washing-line counter weight. The weight has a rib running vertically around the outside. It is filled with small metal pellets. At the top is a metal piece holding a ceramic wheel which is attached to a washing line. At the bottom is another metal part which unscrews so the egg can be filled with the appropriate weight of pellets.
