This programme was printed for a reception and concert held for His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, held at the RSA in Whanganui on 30 April 1920. The concert was delayed until 4 May because the Prince's visit to Wanganui was rescheduled at the last minute, after the printing was complete.
The programme has a stiff blue paper cover folded in half vertically with an art deco pattern and title printed on the front in dark blue and gold, and a circle cut out in centre top to reveal a portrait of the Prince printed on the page underneath. The inside pages are white waxed paper printed in red and blue, and contain details of the programme of entertainment and artists involved in the concert.
