| Brief Description |
This medal comes from the Sons of the Order of the Sons of Temperance. A central red and white enamelled cypher is surrounded by the title on three blue enamelled scrolls. The medal is suspended from an ornate non-swivelling bar suspender with a central blue enamelled five-pointed star. A ribbon in red with two narrow white stripes is fastened to a pin-backed brooch featuring a red, white and blue triangle with the words "LOVE", "PURITY" and "FIDELITY".
This Order of the Sons of Temperance medal was awarded to Arthur George Jarvis of Wanganui.
